श्रीरामचंद्र कृपालु भजु मन हरण भवभय दारुणं। नवकंज-लोचन, कंज-मुख, कर-कंज, पद कंजारुणं॥१॥ कंदर्प अगणित अमित छवि, नवनील-नीरद सुंदरं। पट पीत मानहु तड़ित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक-सुतावरं॥२॥ भजु दीनबंधु दिनेश दानव-दैत्य-वंश-निकंदनं। रघुनंद आनँदकंद कोशलचंद दशरथ-नंदनं॥३॥ सिर मुकुट कुंडल तिलक चारु उदारु अंग विभूषणं। आजानुभुज शर-चाप-धर, संग्राम-जित-खरदूषणं॥४॥ इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर-शेष-मुनि-मन-रंजनं। मम हृदय-कंज निवास कुरु, कामादि खल-दल-गंजनं॥५॥

śrīrāmacaṃdra kṛpālu bhaju mana haraṇa bhavabhaya dāruṇaṃ| navakaṃja-locana, kaṃja-mukha, kara-kaṃja, pada kaṃjāruṇaṃ||1|| kaṃdarpa agaṇita amita chavi, navanīla-nīrada suṃdaraṃ| paṭa pīta mānahu taṛita ruci śuci naumi janaka-sutāvaraṃ||2|| bhaju dīnabaṃdhu dineśa dānava-daitya-vaṃśa-nikaṃdanaṃ| raghunaṃda ānam̐dakaṃda kośalacaṃda daśaratha-naṃdanaṃ||3|| sira mukuṭa kuṃḍala tilaka cāru udāru aṃga vibhūṣaṇaṃ| ājānubhuja śara-cāpa-dhara, saṃgrāma-jita-kharadūṣaṇaṃ||4|| iti vadati tulasīdāsa śaṃkara-śeṣa-muni-mana-raṃjanaṃ| mama hṛdaya-kaṃja nivāsa kuru, kāmādi khala-dala-gaṃjanaṃ||5||
Meaning
Shri Ramachandra Kripalu English Meaning
O mind, worship the compassionate Shri Ramachandra, who removes the dreadful fear of worldly existence. His eyes are like freshly opened lotuses; his face and hands are lotuses, and his feet are rosy as the red lotus. His beauty outshines countless Kamadevas; he is lovely as a fresh dark-blue rain cloud. His yellow robe gleams on him like lightning. I bow to that pure one, the husband of Janaka's daughter. Worship him, the friend of the lowly, radiant as the sun, who uproots the clans of demons and titans; the joy of the Raghu line, the root of bliss, the moon of Kosala, the son of Dasharatha. A crown on his head, earrings, a graceful tilak, ornaments on every noble limb; his arms reach to his knees, he carries bow and arrows, and he defeated Khara and Dushana in battle. So says Tulsidas: you who gladden the hearts of Shiva, Shesha and the sages, you who crush the whole army of desire and the other vices, make your home in the lotus of my heart.

हे मन, कृपा के सागर श्रीरामचन्द्र को भज; वे जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्र का भीषण भय मिटा देते हैं। उनकी आँखें नए खिले कमल-सी हैं, मुख और हाथ भी कमल-से हैं, और चरण लाल कमल की आभा लिए हैं। उनका सौन्दर्य अनगिनत कामदेवों से भी बढ़कर है; वे नए साँवले-नीले बादल जैसे सुन्दर हैं। उनके श्याम शरीर पर पीला वस्त्र बिजली की चमक-सा शोभा देता है। जनकनन्दिनी सीता के उन पवित्र पति को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ। हे मन, उन्हें भज जो दीनों के बन्धु हैं, सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी हैं और दानवों-दैत्यों के वंश को जड़ से मिटाते हैं; जो रघुकुल का आनन्द, आनन्द के मूल, कोसल देश के चन्द्रमा और दशरथ के पुत्र हैं। उनके सिर पर मुकुट, कानों में कुण्डल और माथे पर सुन्दर तिलक है; सुडौल अंगों पर आभूषण सजे हैं। उनकी भुजाएँ घुटनों तक लम्बी हैं, वे धनुष-बाण धारण करते हैं और उन्होंने युद्ध में खर-दूषण को जीता। तुलसीदास कहते हैं — हे शिव, शेषनाग और मुनियों के मन को आनन्द देने वाले, काम आदि दुष्टों के दल का नाश करने वाले प्रभु, आप मेरे हृदय-कमल में निवास कीजिए।

Significance
Shri Ramachandra Kripalu Significance
Tulsidas's hymn of praise to Rama, pad 45 of the Vinaya Patrika (Raga Gauri), sung everywhere as the Shri Ram Stuti. It bids the mind to worship Rama, pictures his lotus eyes, rain-cloud complexion and yellow robe, and ends with Tulsidas asking him to dwell in the lotus of the heart. It is sung in Rama worship, at evening aarti and on Ram Navami. Many singers add a further stanza and a soratha from the Ramcharitmanas (Sita's prayer to Gauri, "मनु जाहिं राचेउ…"); those are not part of this pad and are not included.
