Sarva Mangala Mangalye Significance
The best-known verse of the Narayani Stuti, the gods' hymn to the Devi in chapter 11 of the Devi Mahatmyam (Durga Saptashati), verse 11.10. It hails the Goddess as the auspiciousness of all that is auspicious, the gracious one who fulfils every aim, and the refuge of all. It is recited on its own at the start and close of worship and on auspicious occasions, and it is also the third verse of the Durga Saptashloki.
