Saraswati Namastubhyam Significance
A short prayer to Saraswati, said before beginning study, asking that one's learning always succeed. It is the fifth verse of the Sarasvati Stotra attributed to the sage Agastya, and is widely recited on its own by students, at Vidyarambha (a child's first lesson) and on Vasant Panchami.
