Meaning
Atulita Baladhamam English Meaning
I bow to the son of the Wind: the home of matchless strength, his body shining like a golden mountain, a fire to the forest of the demons, foremost among the wise, the treasury of every virtue, lord of the monkeys, and the beloved devotee of Raghupati (Rama).

Significance
Atulita Baladhamam Significance
A Sanskrit verse of salutation to Hanuman with which Tulsidas opens the Sundarakanda of the Ramcharitmanas (the third of its invocatory shlokas). It hails Hanuman as the home of matchless strength and the beloved devotee of Rama, and is commonly recited before reading the Sundarakanda and on its own as a daily prayer to Hanuman.
