Meaning
Aarti Shri Ramayan Ji Ki English Meaning
Sing the aarti of the holy Ramayana, the lovely and graceful glory of Sita's beloved, Rama. Brahma and the other gods sing it, as do the sage Narada and Valmiki, master of wisdom; Shuka, Sanaka and his brothers, Shesha and Sharada sing it, and Hanuman, son of the Wind, tells its fine glory. The Vedas and the eighteen Puranas sing it; it is the essence of the six schools of philosophy and of all the scriptures. It is the wealth of the sages and the all-in-all of the saints, and its essence is accepted by everyone. Shambhu and Bhavani sing it constantly, and so does Agastya, the wise sage born of a pitcher; Vyasa and the greatest poets have praised it, and it lives in the hearts of Kakabhushundi and Garuda. It washes away the impurity of the Kali age and makes the pleasures of the senses taste flat; it is the lovely adornment of the maiden Liberation. It is the nectar-root that cures the disease of worldly existence, and to Tulsi it is father and mother in every way.

श्री रामायण जी की आरती करो, जो सीतापति श्रीराम की सुन्दर और मनोहर कीर्ति है। ब्रह्मा आदि देवता, मुनि नारद और विज्ञान में निपुण वाल्मीकि इसे गाते हैं; शुकदेव, सनकादि ऋषि, शेषनाग और शारदा भी गाते हैं, और पवनपुत्र हनुमान इसकी सुन्दर कीर्ति का वर्णन करते हैं। वेद और अठारह पुराण इसे गाते हैं; यह छहों शास्त्रों और सब ग्रन्थों का रस है। यह मुनियों का धन और संतों का सर्वस्व है, और इसका सार सबको मान्य है। शिव और पार्वती निरन्तर इसे गाते हैं, और ज्ञानी मुनि अगस्त्य (घटसम्भव) भी; व्यास आदि श्रेष्ठ कवियों ने इसका बखान किया है, और यह काकभुशुण्डि तथा गरुड़ के हृदय में बसती है। यह कलियुग के मल को हरने वाली है, और इसके आगे विषयों का रस फीका लगता है; यह मुक्ति-रूपी युवती का सुन्दर श्रृंगार है। यह भवरोग का नाश करने वाली अमृत-जड़ी है, और तुलसी के लिए तो सब प्रकार से माता-पिता है।

Aarti Shri Ramayan Ji Ki Significance
The aarti of the Ramayana itself, sung at the end of a reading of Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas, after an Akhand Ramayan or Sundarkand path, and on Ram Navami. It honours the book as the glory of Sita's beloved Rama, sung by Brahma, Narada, Valmiki, Shiva and Parvati, Hanuman, Kakabhushundi and Garuda, the essence of the Vedas, Puranas and all scriptures, and the remedy for the disease of worldly life. The text follows the Gita Press Aarti Sangrah and the commonly printed version, in four numbered stanzas with the refrain.
