Meaning

Aarti Saibaba English Meaning

Aarti to Sai Baba, giver of happiness to every living being! Beneath the dust of your feet give rest to your own servants, give rest to your devotees. Having burned away desire, you remain absorbed in your own true Self; to those who seek liberation you show the Lord, Shri Ranga, before their very eyes. As is the feeling in one's heart, so is the experience you show them, cloud of compassion; such is your wondrous way. Meditating on your name takes away the pain of worldly existence; your deeds are beyond fathoming, and you show the way to the helpless. Incarnate in the Kali age, truly Brahman with form, you have come down to us as Swami Datta Digambar. Every week, on Thursday, devotees make the pilgrimage to see the Lord's feet, which take away the fear of worldly existence. My own treasured wealth is service at your feet; this alone I ask of you now, God of gods. This humble chataka bird longs for the pure water of true bliss; give this Madhav that water to drink, and keep your promise.
